In all the chaos, the National Museum of American History doesn’t even rate a mention in the New York Times’ coverage.

My thoughts were that they were focussing on art museums. Natural History got a brief mention because they dealt with African culture better than the art museum dedicated to it.
Well, there was also the section on the African American museum at the end — which seems to me like it logically leads to NMAH.
